How the Partnership Works

The Partnership to End Long Term Homelessness is a network of funders dedicated to ending long term homelessness in America. We are committed to policies and programs that build permanent housing and provide services to prevent and end chronic homelessness. The Partnership is a resource for effective grant making, providing opportunities for collaboration and contact with other funders on the local and national levels.

The Partnership is an open knowledge network of corporate and foundation grantmakers as well as individual donors who share a commitment to and interest in addressing the issue of long term homelessness in America. The goal of the Partnership is to generate the philanthropic commitments necessary to create political will and policies, build the permanent housing, and provide the services that both prevent and address chronic homelessness.

The Partnership identifies, advocates for and endorses effective practice.  Permanent supportive housing, with services available but not mandatory, is a demonstrable and proven solution for ending chronic homelessness.
